Well i figured before all the 2010 hype passes us by I should talk about my favorite presents of 2009. Because it’s awkward to talk about Christmas presents in March. I think everyone had a slim Christmas this year. By slim, I mean my family didn’t go broke buying presents as we like to do every year. We had a little restraint this year. The presents get better and more thoughtful when we have restraint, so I kinda of like it this way. Well, hope your presents were just as lovely, but here are my favorite presents of 2009!

1 | Atlas Tapestry :: via Urban Outfitters. My mom surprised me with this little gem. I never get anything off my Amazon wish list. This year I did!
2| Miniature Pony S&P Shakers :: HOW ADORABLE! Via Anthro, but sadly, I could not find them online. Jason found these in our local store along with #5 and this super cute egg crate he also got me.
3 | Squirrel Wine Bottle Stopper :: via Johnathan Adler. This was actually a birthday present from my sister and it was a really good one! Had to share.
4| Nikon 18-55mm Lens :: So far this is the most used present! My grandmother surprised me with it and I have not taken it off my D80 yet! Love it.
5| Hedge Hog Tea Towel :: via Anthropologie. How freakin adorable is this? My husband found this!
6| Woven Bench :: via Urban Outfitters. Happened upon this while browsing the store. It’s sooo much prettier in real life. My mom surprised me with it and it now lives in the entry way (which I’ll show soon).
7 | iPod iTouch :: 32GB via Target. What can I say, my hubby knows what I want! Used this baby to watch movies while driving up to the outer banks for a wedding!
8 | For Like Ever Poster :: via Village This was on my wish list last year as well but I didn’t get it. This year my mom was determined to get it for me and she did. It’s fabulous!
9 | Cardboard Deer Head :: via Urban. My grandmother didn’t know why I wanted it, but she will soon see!
Well…I havn’t been totally honest with you. The best present I received this year wasn’t anything for the house, a gadget or art. It was a very special gift that my Husband planned and got, just for me because he is just that awesome. Yes, I really did want a pony for Christmas. A very handsome, grey pony. Named Wily.

Here he is saying Hi! And here we are strutting our stuff!

Hope ya’ll had a beautiful a Christmas and here’s to a great 2010!
